Kari Samantha was an American artist, actress and vocalist (born on the 28th of April, 1967). Wuhrer first began her acting career in her teens. Her most well-known role was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three of her siblings. As a child, Wuhrer sang at clubs and went out to perform. From the Wooster School at the age of thirteen, she began studying acting. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University, Marymount Manhattan College located at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, under the famous professor Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied. She was born in Brookfield on April 28, 1967. Her German-American dad is also a dealer in cars and a police agent. Kari is one of the three youngest children. As a teenager her nightclub, she performed while slipping out to perform. Kari began acting at the Wooster School aged thirteen, and went further to pursue a degree in drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the famous Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was as a teenager, and her first TV break coming from the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
