Lisa Edelstein was an American actor who gained notoriety as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical show. At the age of 18, Lisa moved from Wayne to New York City from Wayne which was where she was affixed to traditional Jewish tradition. But very soon, she became involved in the city's club scene, and was able to make enough headlines to be seen by the media and while also becoming aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. The singer used her experience in the music industry and public recognition to make and appear in a brand new musical called Positive Me. In the following year she was recruited by MTV to be the host of Awake on the Wild Side. When it ended up going off the air, she was able to appear in films and television production, initially in short roles before establishing herself as an actress.
