Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is a famous American actress, singer, writer and director. Most well-known is her acting as Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also directed her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the leading actress in those films. Also, she was a part of the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle is her younger sister and is an artist. Benson was a member of the Reform Jewish synagogue while growing in her teens. Her mother was a Southern Baptist and raised Jewish by her father is as well Jewish. Benson's career has continued to flourish following the ending of Buffy. She was in films like The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. Behind the camera, she utilized her writing talents into The Ghosts of Albion series and was the director on shows like the 2010's Drones. Buffy believes that there are at most 1800 Slayers exist in the universe, and 500 of them belong to the Scooby Gang. Slayer potentials are now awoken when they have reached the suitable age.
